  • Planning Objections

    An Objection is similar to a Submission but is more forceful by virtue of the fact that the objector may claim that their quality of life will be affected by noise, overlooking, overshadowing, loss of privacy, smell or other disturbance that will happen as a result of what is being purposed.

    An Objection is usually a written document and may contain maps, photos or other illustrations, and must be submitted within a five week period of the planning application being lodged.

  • Planning Appeals

    Any person or group who made a valid submission or objection in writing, to the planning authority in relation to a planning application has the right to appeal the decision by the local authority, to An Bord Pleanala.
